Informal meeting of the Employment Ministers in Milan
Social exclusion, European unemployment benefit and labour mobility will be central issues at the informal meeting on Employment that will take place in Milan on the 17th and 18th of July.

The 28 Employment Ministers of the EU will meet in Milan on Thursday the 17th and on Friday the 18th of July. They will discuss about the development of Europe 2020 in contrasting poverty and social exclusion. Labour mobility and the hypothesis of a European unemployment subsidy are among the key topics Minister Poletti will bring to the attention of his European colleagues.

The meeting will take place at MIco Conference Centre in Piazzale Carlo Magno, Milan. On Thursday the 17th, the first plenary session will start at 3:30 P.M. and on Friday the 18th from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., ministers will take part in two workshops dedicated to labour mobility, automatic stabilisers and the European subsidy scheme. A subsequent plenary session on social economy will take place at 11:30 A.M.
The press conference of Minister Poletti and László Andor, EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion is scheduled to take place at 1:00 P.M.
